Goldhawk Rodax

Designed by us for flat bar fanatics, the steel Goldhawk Rodax edition serves up a fast and agile ride.

Add in superb control and balanced, not back breaking geometry and the Rodax puts fun back in the saddle.

Ride it every day. We do. With custom 1x11 road gearing, hydraulic discs and GatorSkin 28C tyres, the Rodax will cope with everything.

Stand out from the crowd. Clean lines and fine detailing make this bike look good!

Built in limited numbers in our London workshop and sold direct to you, we’re here for you all the way.

Key Features

The frameset is the heart of the bike and defines it ride characteristics.

Designed in the UK, our frame uses lightweight Reynolds 520 steel for the desired stiffness and quality.

Hand made by a manufacturer recommended to us by Reynolds themselves, it features a brazed duct to house the internal brake line, mudguard and rack mounts, hooded dropouts and is fully tested to ISO Race standards.

For the fork, we felt that only carbon would do and the straight bladed EVO CX completes the package perfectly.

Key Features

1x11 gearing. In our opinion, this is the future and after thousands of miles of testing, decided it was the way to go for Goldhawk.

The front mech and second chain ring are eliminated in favour of a wider range rear cassette for a simple clean approach that works great.

SRAM took the lead with 1x11 technology, developing a new derailleur and cassette that nicely groups the high gears, with big low gears for steep climbs.

The derailleur also features a lock out for easy wheel removal.

Key Features

At the front end, a 48 tooth chainring brings the 11 speed gearing right into the sweet spot for road use, meaning less ‘spin out’ than with a smaller MTB configuration.

When we couldn’t find a suitable chainring, we made our own. Having already fallen for the RT1 crank, with its two piece hollow design and external bottom bracket, we persuaded the team at First to CNC machine us Narrow Wide chainrings in 7075 T6 aluminium.

Key Features

If you can’t stop fast, you can’t go fast. We only fit high quality disc brakes.

Unrivalled performance even in the wet and unaffected by wheel damage.

We use the very latest SRAM Level T-A1 hydraulic brakes matched with SRAM smooth edged Centerline rotors.

Both front and rear brake lines are routed discreetly through the frame and fork.

Key Features

Small details, big impact.

From our custom saddle by Velo, to our hand enamelled badge, the finishing touches we apply to our bikes helps create a clean uncluttered look.

Crank, handlebars, stem and seat post are all polished before anodising, brake lines are routed through the frame and fork and our logos are discreetly placed.

It takes time and effort to do this, but we are very pleased with the result.

*All length measurements are in mm

Choosing the right size bike is important, but quite straight forward and our bikes have plenty of adjustment.

For each bike size, check your height against the chart below. If you are at the crossover point between sizes, consider going for the smaller size as it’s easier to adjust.

Or, you can calculate your ‘Ape Index’. Spread your arms wide against a wall and measure fingertip to fingertip.

Then, subtract your height from your arm span. If the number is positive, go with the larger size and if negative, go for the smaller size.

You can also check your true inside leg measurement against the stand over height (measured from the crossbar to the ground).

A good way to measure true inside leg measurement is to use the footwear you normally cycle in, position a straight edge between your legs and measure to the floor.
